Careful management of temperature during charging prolongs battery life and avoids hazards inherent to batteries. The lithium polymer battery charger 16.8V 2A works with NTC Temperature Sensing (Panasonic ERTJ1VG103J) for protection of the 14.8V lipo battery packs -to keep the cells in the optimum condition during the charging cycle. The initial temperature is measured in order to allow initiation of charging. The lithium ion polymer battery charger uses CC/CV regulation (constant current/constant voltage) and a microprocessor to control charging process. The li polymer battery charger automatically shuts off the charging process when battery attains full charge. If the battery temperature is out of 0~44℃ the charging is terminated. If the battery temperature gets back in the operating temperature range the charging would automatically re-start.
