Class 2 battery charger 12V lead acid battery consists of a microcontroller to manage the charging profile for accurate and automatic charging. The 12V charger is protected against destructive electrostatic discharge(ESD), and provides surge immunity against electrical overstress(EOS) to prevent damage to the internal circuitry. When the 12V charger is disconnected from the mains, or battery is fully charged, a relay is used to automatically disconnect the charger from the batteries, to prevent the battery from flowing back (Backfeed).
U-shaped heat sinks which fit perfectly with the housing, dissipate heat in an effective way to ensure the charger with long life span.
The charger for 12V sealed lead acid battery accepts a wide input mains range (90 to 264Vac) and delivers 8-14.7 volts charging voltage profiles. The 14.7V battery charger is spark free by utilizing soft start technology.
